This website is owned by YUX SAS (“YUX”), a pan-African research and design firm whose mission is to create digital products and services adapted to the African context. We are incorporated in Senegal at 3 rue Béranger Feraud, Dakar and have also offices in Abidjan.  

In these Terms of Use of the YUX Website, “you” refers to the user of this Website. Please review these Terms carefully before using this Website. Your use of this Website indicates your agreement to be bound by these Terms.
 

1. Intellectual property rights

1.1 YUX Website

This Website is owned by YUX and operated by YUX. The intellectual property rights, including the copyrights, in the material contained in this Website and any YUX trade marks and brands included in that material belongs to YUX.

All of our public reports are under CC-BY-NC-ND licence. It means any user is allowed to share our report (copy and redistribute our reports in any medium or format), under the following terms :

  • Attribution — the user must give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made. You may do so in any reasonable manner, but not in any way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use.
  • NonCommercial — You may not use the material for commercial purposes.
  • NoDerivatives — If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you may not distribute the modified material.
  • No additional restrictions — You may not apply legal terms or technological measures that legally restrict others from doing anything the license permits.

The brands, logos and content of the reports (graphic illustrations, texts, etc.) are protected by the Intellectual Property Code and by copyright.      Any reproduction of the LOOKA brand and its logos appearing on the reports, by any means whatsoever, without the prior written authorization of YUX, is strictly prohibited. Any violation of the foregoing provisions constitutes an act of counterfeiting that may engage the civil and / or criminal liability of its author.
